An experiential, theme-based concept, UUSEUM is a mobile cultural space that redefines the traditional museum experience, with a focus on India’s traditional crafts and textiles. Rather than presenting heritage behind glass displays—primarily centered on preservation and observation—UUSEUM is a space built for participation. Its focus lies in capturing the cultural essence of a region through People (community), Process (traditional knowledge), and Practice (handcrafted techniques). A project by Amoda—a conscious lifestyle brand founded in 2015 by Meeta Solanki Jadeja in Ahmedabad, whose connection to Kutch began much earlier. Since curating her first craft exhibition in 1991, she has worked closely with artisans for over three decades, long before designer-artisan collaborations became commonplace. UUSEUM is her most recent expression, where the aim is to encourage visitors to form deeper, more mindful connections with the products they encounter. It invites them first to experience the journey from ‘farm to fashion’, and then to shop with greater awareness and intent.

From its debut at the Mangalbaug Gallery in Ahmedabad to its presence at the Rann Utsav in Dhordo village, Gujarat, UUSEUM has transformed spaces into immersive environments that spark intrigue in visitors. What sets it apart is the unconventional display of handcrafted textiles and garments. Each piece is thoughtfully arranged across the room, suspended from the ceiling to highlight the delicate and rich texture of the fabric, the intricate beauty of its surface techniques, prints, and weaves, drawing the viewer’s gaze to the smallest of details. includes time-honoured crafts such as Ajrakh printing, Bhujodi weaving, and Rogan painting, alongside other exquisite creations like copper bells—each piece a testament to the region’s rich artisanal heritage, far beyond just textiles. With a vision to create a "fun, immersive, and creatively engaging space," UUSEUM offers something for every age group and professionals across disciplines—because art exists in everyone, just expressed differently. Visitors aren't treated as passive spectators who simply visit and leave. Instead, they’re invited to engage as collaborators—interacting with installations, historical narratives, and hands-on activities. Initiatives like Canvas of Imagination: Kutch Climate x Craft Heritage spotlight the role of crafts in climate-conscious rural tourism, making every interaction intentional and impactful. As the conversation around craftsmanship gains momentum and traditional spaces evolve into interactive environments, UUSEUM becomes a journey of emotion—a portal into living heritage, reminding us that culture is never static. It is shaped by those who engage with it, preserve it, carry it forward, and reinterpret it in fresh, meaningful ways.
