Lately, however, this is no longer the case because the offerings of the country’s labels extend far beyond ornate lehengas and sweeping cocktail gowns. You can now find everything from a pair of sturdy blue jeans to a cool, deconstructed button down made by a homegrown brand, and the latest addition to this ever-evolving list is accessories.

Designers, both emerging and established, seem to have identified a lack of high quality made in India add-ons, and many of them seem to be working hard towards filling this void.
