No. 3 Clive Road
India’s deep-rooted tea culture is globally known, yet few Indian-born brands have made their mark on the global luxury tea landscape. No. 3 Clive Road seeks to fill that gap, offering a curated collection of Indian blends through a lens of design and storytelling.
What began in 2015 with just four blends has grown into an array of teas, pantry staples, and gifting experiences.
Each blend is handcrafted in small batches at their New Delhi-based atelier using locally sourced, all-natural ingredients. Think saffron from Kashmir, lemongrass from Kerala, and rose petals from Rajasthan—all woven into uniquely named blends like Botanical Awakening, Madurai Masala, and Jodhpur Blend. What truly sets the brand apart is its ability to stay rooted in tradition while gracefully moving forward. There’s a subtle effort to modernise innovative or unconventional how we experience tea—showcasing its versatility in recipes like Blue Earl Grey cocktail or a Jodhpur blend G&T(ea). Their gifting sets, especially, bring everything together beautifully: favourite blends, accessories, and brewing tools, all thoughtfully wrapped in season relevant packaging.

Community remains central to the brand’s philosophy, brought to life through intimate high teas, poetry gatherings, and thoughtfully curated pop-ups. They’ve also collaborated with brands like Bombay Sapphire, Nicobar, and Dior which prove how seamlessly tea can find its place in cultural and creative conversations. Over time, the brand has expanded its offerings—from teas to a curated pantry of raw honey, cocoa, mustard, and spiced mango chutney. While most tea brands continue to use plastic packaging, the brand makes a conscious effort toward sustainability with plastic-free, tin-based packaging and the use of reusable cloth filters instead of single-use ones.
From the outset, you can notice the brand’s strong emphasis on visual storytelling—collaborating with artists such as Avinash Veeraraghavan, Rithika Merchant, and Thukral & Tagra. This commitment to aesthetic detail is deeply rooted in the founder Radhika Chopra’s background in the art world, having previously worked as a gallery director and led an art foundation. Her experience in curating visual narratives is evident in the brand’s thoughtful partnerships and design sensibility.
Radhika draws the name of the brand from back to her roots - The name No. 3 Clive Road honors her family’s home in New Delhi, where her childhood memories lie over conversations with her family over cups of tea. That same spirit of warmth, nostalgia, and connection continues to run through the entire brand.
