Roma Narsinghani’s jewellery pieces, crafted by skilled artisans, stand out unmistakably, adding a striking and distinctive touch to every outfit and look they accompany. Alongside India’s affinity for jewellery largely dictated by traditional players the industry is currently making room for innovative designs that push boundaries in both form and function. The label’s jewellery pieces are inherently Indian and yet they carry a contemporary flair. Roma Narsinghani’s signature style boasts gilded pieces with a maximalist-make, and contours in metal that are structured and sculpture-esque - precisely detailed.

Founded in 2017, Roma Narsinghani’s eponymous label crafts artisanal concept jewellery known for its geometric shapes and an approach that explores its conventional functions. What seems like intangible concepts or perhaps fleeting imaginations developed on paper, the label’s designs have been touted and favoured precisely for their whimsy and eccentricity. As captivating in reality as they appear on the glossy pages of magazines or digitally, these pieces aren't afraid to take up space, introducing contemporary shapes and motifs that remould the concept of statement-worthy jewellery in India. Yet, their core identity remains rooted in inspirations drawn from Indian mythology, culture and Roma’s own Sindhi roots.

In the label’s collections, traditional craftsmanship shines through, showcasing the expertise of generational artisans- transforming every line, shape, and form from paper into tangible creations that reflect grandeur. Amongst their whimsical and playful pieces are hair buns - that have gathered prominence intrinsic to the label’s every collection. Other noteworthy explorations include metal bindis, scarf chokers and bracelets that embody chunky detailings.

Besides their designs, Roma Narsighani's ethos deserves separate attention for its foundation in sustainability and creativity. Their designs incorporate unique materials like eco brass, recycled from previous collections, and algae beads, creating a regal aesthetic evident in their recent’ Lola and Koki’ collection. The label’s trajectory includes crafting capsule collection lines for the likes of Amit Aggarwal and Rahul Mishra - designers whose creations have set international runways ablaze. While the label is known for its sculpturesque style, Roma Narsinghani consistently reinvents itself with each collection. Drawing inspiration from various sources, the label transforms imaginative concepts into wearable forms that turn heads.
