Amrit Pal Singh is a Delhi-based NFT artist whose toy-like 3D illustrated portraits and virtually immersive rooms invoke a nostalgic odyssey. And it leaves one reminiscing their childhood days. The artist’s works have received widespread acclaim, with his first NFT artwork of Frida Kahlo fetching a whopping 3.9 ETH. One of his collections is called "toy faces" which are adorable digital portraits of people who have inspired him; from David Bowie and Charlie Chaplin to women who made history in space. Alternatively, his ‘Toy rooms’ collection evokes fond memories from our favorite shows, such as Jerry's burrow upcycled with sardine tins and match sticks, or Aladdin's cave, where the genie lamp stood tall amongst a sea of treasure. Amrit Pal is also an accomplished visual artist and an art director with notable clients such as Google, Snapchat, Netflix, Adobe, and others. And while we have only scratched the surface of what the virtual world means to us, the artist has already envisioned a long-term future, raking in millions and minting over 88 NFTs. Nicknamed, the Indian NFT space’s toymaker, Amrit Pal emerges as a conservator of such priceless memories through his art, carefully blending their relevance into the digitally-fueled 21st century while making us long for our childhood days.
